How do I add a more intensive glow in Photoshop?

This is what I did so far...The glows are not that intense, and I want a very intense glow, but how?

  1. Have you tried playing with the "saturation" or the "Contrast"  or with the "Curves" ??? One of those should do it.

  3. Many ways really. One way is to duplicate the layer with the glow (if on another layer) and use Screen blending mode to whiten more.

    If it's all one layer, create a blank layer, fill it with white, set the blend mode to Screen, and control the opacity and/or use a mask to control what areas will be covered.

    These are quick, cheap methods that could work fine for you but may also whiten everything excessively. Better tonal control comes with more sophisticated methods - a combination of Levels adjustment layer, masks, layer duplications, and blend modes.
