How do I add a picture to replace my icon?

You need to open a 360' account, go to your profile to do that. then you upload one to there.

for a photo avatar:

-make a yahoo 360 here: http://360.yahoo.com/login.html?.done=ht...

-save the picture you want to use to your computer

-convert it to JPG if it isn't already

- go to your yahoo 360

- my page

- edit personal photos

-upload the photo

-click 'set as primary' on the one you want to use

- click 'save' to finish

now:

-go to your yahoo answers profile

-click edit my info

-then scroll down till you see the picture settings, click use my 360 photo

-click 'preview'

-click save

now you have your own picture

For an animated avatar:

-go here to create your avatar: http://avatars.yahoo.com/

- make your avatar

- save the changes

- go to your Yahoo! answers profile

-click 'edit my info'

-go down to the picture box... 'click use my yahoo! avatar'

-click preview

-click save

now you have an avatar :)

If you want a photo/picture as your avatar you need to make a yahoo 360 page. http://360.yahoo.com/login.html?.done=ht...

click "my page" then "edit personal photo" then browse upload and save Set as primary. and save. go to your avatar choose your avatar>preview>OK. then go to yahoo>my profile>edit my info then click use my 360 picture>preview then OK.

to make your avatar, or change it or w/e, go to http://avatars.yahoo.com/

then to put it as your profile pic, go onto your profile, click "edit my profile" and select it there
