How do I add friends to my 360 page??

I can't seem to add anyone. What am doing wrong?

Once you find a profile of some one you want to add,, under their avatar is a 'add to friends' box  click on this box and a messege will be sent to this person that you want to add them to your friends list,, That person has the option to let you add them or not..  Hope this helps
