Question:

How do I add photos to my website?

Whatever way I display the photos I can handle...

However, if I want to display a photo, would I put it in a location such as www.domain.com/photo_1.jpg

And then say on www.domain.com/photos.html, would I make a "img src" to that above location?

Is this the proper way to do this? Would I use FTP for this?

Also, I have seen websites where it displays all the photos in a row in small pics, and then you can click on each one and it shows a larger view below the row of photos... does anyone know what this is?

Thanks so much for your time!

    Not really, as www.domain.com is a virtual location. Yes, you would put the image in your website root directory, or in a subdirectory to that.

    Yes. Technically, not to that location, but to that file.

  2. you can make a picture album in dreamweaver  click on commands and scroll to nearly the bottom  and you will see create web album click on that and follow the instruction,

    it will make you a page full of thumb nails an when you click on them they will turn into full size

    { little tip do not have to big a picture as it will be to big for your screen}

    it also give you a next button to go on to the next picture

    hope the is what you are looking for
