How do I add skins on my DS?

I know where to get the skins for the DS. I have an Original DS not DS Lite. Does it work for the original one? When I change the theme background it says "This Types of files currently not allowed to operate"

Any help would be greatly appreciated

no because that orginal ds is the old one theres actually only for the lite because the lite is new but srry
