How do I add the little logo or design to the left of my website URL in a browser?

I am using Dreamweaver cs3 and want to add my logo next to my URL to be displayed in Web Browsers. Please help.

Yes its called a favicon, there are many online generators that will do the job for you, just ensure you call it favicon.ico then insert this line of code to your meta tags

<link rel="Shortcut Icon" href="/favicon.ico" />

The icon will not work without it!!
