Question:

How do I add videos to my video Ipod?

I just got an 80gb ipod video. I've been trying to figure out how to get video onto it. I did some research, realized I needed a converter, so I'm now using aimersoft. Still, even after I converted the file to mp4, I dragged the file to itunes, it only comes up as an audio file. Any idea why this happens and how to fix it?

  1. Here is a step by step guide about converting DVD, Videos, Flash and Youtube videos to iPod: http://www.topsreviews.com/guides/cucuso...

There is an Unbiased reviews and side-by-side comparisons of iPod Video Converter and gives you enough information to research the ins and outs of a particular product: http://www.topsreviews.com/reviews/ipod-... Some useful information you can get on the official site:

  2. You might need a better converter.

Heres a good free video converter for ipods

  3. check your output format, mp4 is your choice for ipod, then just follow below steps to add vdieo on ipod

    1. Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library.

    2. plug in your iPod Nano to computer, then iTunes will detect your iPod Nano as a device.

    3. Select your iPod Nano device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done.

  4. That's a problem with the converted file.  Check it's properties and make sure it says it's a .mp4 file, not .mp3.  If it says it's an mp4, but still won't play as a video, try another converter. There are a lot of them out there, and some work much better than others.
