  1. Dear Charlie hows it hanging should suit.

  2. "Dear Sir" would probably be too informal... believe it or not!

It is more appropriate to just begin your letter with "Sir".

  3. personally i would adress it as to big ears. no serieously i suppose it should be is name which is charles arthur phillip george mountbatten windsor but that would be the envolope so i dont know just prince charles i guess we are living in a very informal socielty these days so just prince charles and leave it at that

  4. "Sir" is an appropriate salutation for the letter because you will have already correctly addressed the envelope to HRH The Prince of Wales. Adding "Dear" would make it too familiar."Your Royal Highness" is also perfectly acceptable.

  5. You should write

"To His Royal Higness, The Prince of Wales"

  6. As B.E.C said,Sir is the correct form of address. How's it hanging would be correct for a letter to Justin D'Holes' mother.

  7. "Dear sir" would be acceptable, you could start it "Your Royal Highness" without a "Dear". It depends a little on what you want to write to him about.
