They can see the wireless network on the computer, but i'm not sure what the password is. I use windows vista and a dynalink wireless modem 1025W is the model number. Is there a way to figure out the password from the computer or do i have to phone the internet company? Thanks for the help. 10points to the best answer.

  1. There is a program WZCook that will list wireless profiles set up on a computer (works in XP, not sure about vista) along with the wep keys (not sure about WPA)

You could run that on your computer then give them the password,

Or reset the router/access point and set up a new security key that you will know.

  2. it should be on the modem. it is for mine, not the serial number but the other number.

    Hope this helps

  3. well if its wanting a password, and you dont know it, then you could try pushing the reset button that might be on it, however if there isnt one, then you cant do anything about it.

    sorry

    :D

  4. the password is a wepkey . if you do not know it go in the router and disable it , since you want open access , if your not sure how to do this feel free to msg me and i'll help you
