How do I allow people/puplic to join my group?

Question

I am owner of a Yahoo Group that is set to public. Is there a way for people to join without me getting a message saying I have to approve them first. I dont mind who joins so no one needs an approval

management- under group settings click membership- Membership Type and Welcome Message (Edit) <-- click the edit- check/ select * Open (anyone can join)- click save changes
