How do I animate my photgraphs?

I shot a few photos with my DSLR on a tripod, of my friend shooting some ball, and wondering how to make the photo animated so it looks like he's shooting the ball into the hoop.

try easy GIF animator. just search it on your favorite search engines (google or yahoo). they are freeware.

the only bad thing is that you will need photoshop cs3... there also other programs you can use to make gif files but i have always used photoshop.
