How do I answer a question if?

If a person questions are private how do I answer them ?

stick "Do you mean..." in front of their question.  

If they repeat it, tell them "I just wanted to make sure I understood what you are asking.  That question is out of line.  Have a nice day."

First you need to ask them if you could  answer their PRIVATE question and then you answer it.

press "answer this question" ...you can't make your question private every one can answer it .but..you can make your profile questions and answers private.

there questions still show up, you just cant go and look at all the questions they have ever asked in their profile
