How do I apply eye shadow?

I recently started wearing makeup...I'm almost 30. I just need some tips. I have 3 browns, light, med, dark. Where do I apply which colors when i'm going out? It seems always to just look messy when I put them on.

you just put some light color like green with a glitters.

put the lightest color on first.. put it all over your eyelid and all the way up to your eyebrow..

put the medium color on just ur eyelid.

then put the darkest color in the crease on ur eyelid..make sure its only on ur eyelid or it will look way too much!

you put it on the eye lid and not on the eyeball!
