I am a canadian citizen and few days ago I got withdrawn from the us customs because of my overstay in the states

I overstayed about a year and 8 month with a visa that was admitted for 6months

the CRP officer told me I can not enter the states within 10 years unless I submit i-192 and be approved for advance permission

I have called few legalizaion services but one of them said they only help the ones with criminal record !!! which I don't have and makes me wanna be a criminal

so please who ever has answer im desperate I need to go back to see my fiance !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

should I hire a lawyer? or is there any legalization service that can help me submit i-192 !!?!?!?!?

  1. Waivers of any kind are not DIY jobs.

Consult an AILA approved lawyer in Canada, there are a few about in the different cities and provinces of Canada, preferably one which as waiver experience, use the link below to help you search for the right lawyer.

  2. yep, you need a lawyer.  if you dont want to hire one then good luck trying to do it youself,  they are real strict on people who overstayed as long as you did.
