How do I apply to be an Air Traffic Controler?

I heard recently the US is looking for air traffic controlers. Where would I look if intrested? Is there a test or do I look locally?

Go to the FAA website at www.faa.gov under Airports & Air Traffic tab you will find Air Traffic Information under the 2nd topic Air Traffic Information you will see Air Traffic Controller Workforce Plan.  Just remenber if you become an Air Traffic Controller to be nice to us dumb Pilots.

JD is right about where to apply.  There is a test you have to take, and physical, and background check.  You can make your application for facilities close to you or nation wide.
