Question:

How do I arm my Failsafe starter kill on my car?

I got a clifford 12.5x but I don't know if my starter kill automatically arms itself after I lock it. Or do I have to arm it separately? How can I tell if it's armed? Thanks.

  1. If wired correctly it should lock your doors, arm the alarm and disengage the starter circuit.  To check if its all working right sit in your car without the key in the ignition close the door and arm the alarm.  The doors should lock, and alarm should arm. Now try to start your car but don't disarm the system.  The starter shouldn't crank and the alarm should activate.  Hope this helps, good luck.
