I will soon have 3 kids (newborn, 2 year old, 5 year old) in either child safety seats or booster seats. How do I arrange the 3 seats in the back seat of my car to optimize my children's safety?

  1. i am sorry to say that i just don't know but many organizations will gladly instruct you in your best interest and that of your children.  children's hospitals often have information that they will gladly share as well as state government facilities who will be glad to help you keep your children as safe as possible.  i would just call the state police usually where driver's licenses are issued and they will surely be able to help or direct you to someone who can.  you are so smart to be thinking ahead and preparing for your children.

  2. put the newborn in the middle, the 2 year old behind the passenger seat, and the 5 year old behind you.

  3. Buy a mini-van or SUV

  4. Baby faces backwards and the 2 bigger kids on either side and face forward

  5. Try this site......

  6. Put the newborn in the middle of course and then the older ones on the sides. The middle is always the safest and for the newborn with a weak neck its vital for safety. Hope this helps:)
