How do I arrange to go to a high school in China and home stay for 2 months? Exchange programs want under 18s.

I don't want to go to an international school - I want to be with the Chinese in a high school. I am almost the same age as the Chinese students in year 12 because they start late, but the cut off age for most programs is 18 and I am older than that

unless you know chinese extremely well (fluent) i highly advise you not to do that. and the systems are also very harsh.
