How do I ask about hooking up?

this girl who wants me and who i like a lot wants to hookup with me. I was talking to her friend about it and she said to ask her about it in normal conversations when text or something. I dont know what I should say and what not. Could someone please help me?

Don't ask her out in a text, call her or ask her in person is best!

And tell her you like her, and you were wondering if she would ever want you as her boyfriend, and then well, just talk!
