How do I ask for Job Applications?

I have been working at Jcpennys for a year and four months. An Im going to start appling to some local places such as dunkin dounuts, Auto Zone, Michelin tire, and what not. What should I say or day when I walk in and ask for an application?

Ask to speak to the manager. Than ask him/her " I would like to apply for job here. Are you currently hiring or accepting applications?"

you simply walk into the place you wish to work. you'd do well to keep an eye out for a 'help wanted' or 'now hiring' sign. but not all places will have an easily visible sign, so you could walk in and approach someone and ask if they are hiring. even if they aren't, you're free to submit an application, which they will keep for future consideration when they do begin looking for new employees.

to get a job application, you simply need to find a manager and inquire after one. try, "hi, my name is ----- and i was wondering if you're hiring/will be hiring soon?" usually, an application will follow, but if the person doesn't automatically hand you one, just ask for one. sometimes, you'll have to fill out an application online; they'll give you the steps for doing so.

walk in somewhere and say "Can i please get an application?"

Ask if they are hiring and then turn your application in to the manager if possible.

If they aren't busy, you can ask for the manager and introduce yourself.  Ask of they are currently hiring and if so, would they give you an application.  If they are busy, I would just ask for an application.

walk in in a suit (unless it is a casual buisness) with a blue/black pen and show them that you have a hard working attitude and then ask kindly "Hello may i please have a job application...thank you"

Just ask "Are you hiring -- May I have an application?". And why would you go from JC Penney to Dunkin Donuts? I dont get it.
