How do I attach a metal head board and foot board to my full size bed frame?

I've never had a headboard that was attached so I have no clue how to do this, or what materials I need. If you've done this and can adequately describe the steps in doing this, please reply! thank you

On the base of your bedframe will be  strips of metal sticking out with 2 or 3 holes already in them... You center your headboard/footboard to the holes and drill a small "pilot hole" into the headboard/footboards....you want to drill a hole just as a pilot for the screws going in..purchase a small bag of METAL SELF TAPPING screws that are larger than the pilot holes..and simply take a drill with a s***w head bit in it and s***w them in..self tapping screws will really self drill into metal, but a pilot hole helps if you are not that familiar will a drill..
