How do I attach a milk crate to my bike?

I've got the platform over my back wheel, and the crate, and bungee cords. I want to make sure I'm attaching the crate as safely as possible. Any ideas?

All you need to do is wrap the bungee cords around the crate. After you do this shake the crate and see if it needs more tightening or not and then you're on you way.

We had one attached to our motorcycle.  We bunjeed it to the platform and sissy bar, and it was just fine.

Attach it to your rear rack. For a thief-resistant crate use wire. If you need to remove it often use bungie cords or 1/4 to 3/8 inch nylon rope.
