  1. Anchor bolts should be the answer unless you have a licence for a Ram set and know all the legal requirements and dangers in using one.

  2. If the concrete floor is in the basement- don't, call a contractor.

If its in the main floor or above. You can shoot the nails in with the ramjet as one guy said. Or you can drive in cement nails with a large hammer, or you can pre-drill the floor with a masonry bit and install anchor bolts.

  3. With a "ramshot" driver. It uses a 22 cal. bullet to sink the nail.

  4. you'll need to install lag bolts through the bottom plate into the concete. You could use a hammer drill to drill the concrete. then place lag shields over bolts

  5. if there is a building inspector involved you will need to drill holes in the concrete and sink fasteners with threaded studs these can be used to bolt the seal plate (2X4) to the floor. then build the wall from there. or if no inspection the suggestion of the first guy works just as good in my opinion

  6. with the bottom plate made out of treated lumber.

set the wall nail it in on sides or top. Use concrete/cut nails and drive through the bottom plate (2x4) into the floor. it will only effectively keep the wall from moving back and forth. To secure it well you should use concrete anchors. Drill a 3/8 hole with a concrete bit through the plate and into the concrete, careful to go straight vertically don't warble the hole out it has to be tight for the anchor. Drive the anchor in with the washer and nut on it all the way in but not through the concrete and then use a ratchet or wrench to tighten the nut on the anchor bolt. They can be found at Lowe's and Home Depot and a ramshot is great but it has the same limits as the cut nails and will cost between 30-50 bucks.

Richard V: license really? Use Must live in the peoples republic of cali, or NY   scary.

  7. Leaded sheild, rotory hammerdrill, lag bolt. the baseplate of treated lumber.
