I have to cover my stone garden steps with wooden decking. My problem is, I need to know how I attach the wooden posts onto the top or side of the existing stone steps? The stone steps have a height of roughly 15cm each. The posts can't go into the floor as I've just had block paving put down which I should have thought about beforehand really.

  4. Metpost do a good one for bolting directly into stone...

Called the Metpost Bolt-Down, it sits on the concrete, brick or decking and is fixed down with four sturdy style fittings depending on the material your attaching to.
