How do I attach dash over inst. cluster ?

Separated, leaving a 3/4 inch to 1 inch gap, any ideas for a fix? Glue type? It is a cheap way that Ford did it, I bought it used but this looks like it happened over time (98 taurus)

EVER hear about blue glue? That isn't what it is but we're on the right track.I'd use either black or grey silicone and place something to hold it in place until the silicone drys.
