How do I avoid bumping into someone who lives in the same building?

Question

This guy lives on the 10th floor. I live on the 8th floor. There are two elevators and one stairway. There are only two ways to enter & exit the building: throught the basement or through the lobby. Both entrances have cameras pointed at them 24/7. How do I avoid bumping into this guy. (I am still trying to figure out his scedual: when he leaves & comes back etc.) So far I have just been staying out of the building until businesses close down for the night.

Unless you're dead-set against encountering this guy, I think it's unavoidable unless you just stay shut-in your apartment.  Without knowing more of the situation, I think it'd just be better to chin up and walk past him without saying anything or acknowledging his presence.  If he's a creep and he's bothering you, then you should get some police intervention.

if life is so hard, why don't u just find another apartment to move in? i guess u don't want to hide and seek with this guy forever.
