How do I avoid crabs whilst swimming in the ocean?

  1. Keep your feet off the ocean floor.  They tend to lurk there...waiting to pinch your toes...


  2. If your'e talking about salt water crabs--- don't worry about them. If you kick one it won't pinch you, not enough time. If you stay still and a crab finds you it will leave you alone-- you are not food. Crabs are cool, you really have to do some work before one will pinch you.

  4. Well, there are different kinds of crabs.  The smaller, sand crabs are very small and burrow in the sand, by the shoreline, so you need not fear those.  You generally won't even see them.

    Others stay by the rocks so as long as you don't swim by them (meaning, the rocks) there should be no problem.

    The last kind are a particular problem but as long as you exercise good judgment and remain celibate until your married, then you should have no problem.
