Question:

How do I avoid having to release my SAT Subject Test scores after I received the scores.?

I just got my scores for two subject tests I took on June 7, and I decided to cancel my scores. I took Physics and English Literature. I know that I must cancel both of them, but that would be fine with me, because I already have enough for most colleges.

I took the English Literature test, because I am only in Academic English, while all my classmates are in AP or Honors English. I thought that if I did well on it, I would be able to compensate a bit for that. I performed really poorly, because I didn't find the time to study, and I am obviously not in the classes that would have prepared me for it.

The College Board's website says that I must cancel before the Wednesday after the test date.

I won't be able to retake them, because I need to take the SAT's in October, and it would greatly improve my chances of getting into a top college if I apply by early decision.

  1. you had to cancel the wednesday after you took them, not the wednesday after you receive your scores.

    that was a while ago.

i don't think you can cancel after you receive the scores.

did you already cancel them..?  if you decided to cancel your scores, you were supposed to have done it by.. june 11th, or whatever that wednesday was.

i'm pretty sure they repeat like like twenty times during the test.

  2. You can't.  Your stuck with these scores.  Sorry.

  3. You don't HAVE to submit your scores when you apply to your schools.
