I've got a 350z I'm trying to sell. Its a sports car in the high 20k low 30k. How can I make it so that serious people only test drive this vehicle? I do not want to be that dude on you tube that just sits in the passanger seat while this guy does burn outs and doughnuts just so he can be cool and show it to his punk pizza faced friends?

  1. They really dont need a test drive and if they insist...put THEM in the passanger seat and drive them around. Do NOT let them fool you, they can check the engine compartment or even have their mechanic come check it out but DONT let them drive.

  2. pre-qualify them, ask to see the money, or bank qualifications, drivers licence and a cash deposit, , like someone else said you do the driving, good luck

  3. your probaly going to make an add in the paper or on the net or something right,?well put on the add ''serios byers only'' ''no joy rides'',,and also when it comes to ''so can i take it for a test run'',,,,,sit right there in the passenger seat,,if your real serios you can drive it,,,,,that eliminates the idiots,an when ppl read that they also think that your serios...and you look after your car,,,

  4. Go with them. Tell them your insurance demands it, and they are not covered unless you are in the vehicle. Serious buyers will understand this, and be cool with it.

If they get rowdy with it, let them know "hey, that ain't cool". Serious buyers are going to know what the car is capable of. They're not going to need to do burn-outs or donuts in a parking lot.

  5. ask to hold some money.... go by looks if they dont look right to you dont let them go.... ask for their car keys
