How do I avoid showing my email address when I post to a group?

Question

Someone said this is not enough info. I am posting to a group or replying, what else? My email shows but no one else's does. Yahoo says my email will show when I post. How do I stop this? 2 answers so far, no help!

post to a  group where,,, you have not given us enough information???

unless the group allows to hide e-mail address, those on individual mail will see it although on the group only you can see your own full address.

only other option is to use a generic e-mail address than the one you don't want to show, and here's how you'd add that mail

go to this link- http://groups.yahoo.com/myprefs click add email address on top left- follow steps and confirm address.

then go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the column Email Address click the arrow for the drop down box and select new address- click save changes
