How do I become a Disney character/princess?

I think it would be really cool to work at disney world!!!! Do you know anything about being a disney character /princess? What are the accomodations? Thanx!!!

first, there is an audition process. they hold auditions every so often. you will hear commercials on the radio. you don't just have to look like the character, you have to have excellent people skills and be willing to work a flexible schedule. plus you have to learn how to move like a princess, talk like a princess and just be a princess.

there are really no accommodations on site for employees. most employees have their own houses or apartments somewhere near Disney. usually the living quarters that Disney has is reserve for the college program and international employees.

You can't live on actual Disney property unless you are a college program/international program or professional intern. Therefore you would need to live close to here, and have your own transportation. I've never met a princess younger than 18, but most of them are in their twenties.

To become a princess you would have to go through a very intense audition process. It really doesnt matter if you look like one or not, thats up to Disney magic after you are cast in a role.

Princesses have to be able to act very poised, proper, and innocent no matter what the situation is. It usually helps to have a decent singing voice and some basic dancing skills.

And although it may seem like the dream job, you have to remember that Disney is a company, and it is still a job. And that is one of the hardest jobs to get here.
