I know you have to be in the MP first. But is there a good chance of becoming a dog handler in the marines? Or is it hard to get into?

  1. Really depends on when you cycle through MP school.  All classes have a chance to try out for one thing or another, the problem is that your class might have SRT??  Then again it may be K-9 handler.  When I went through, we had the option, but my dumb self did not take them up on going active duty which is a requirement for K-9 handler.  The Army is the only branch were you can go into K-9's right off.

  2. umm idk i think u have to become part of the mil. police and ask for tht mos. if there are openings

  3. idk if they even have mps lol but if you know that they do for sure, i would talk to a recruiter to see your options and try and plot a career path, otherwise why not just be a regular police?
