No you do not have to have lots of money right now. there are many ways. are you talking about an airline pilot or a pilot to fly rich people around. An airline pilot requires many different lisences. First you must get the private, then insterment, commercial, and multi. You can also get the instuctor license it instuct and get hours built up. Many airlines require a minumum of 800-1000 hrs right now.
