probably your best guess would be to take some lessons, most likely while you grow in talent your teacher will know of some auditions or at least will be able to help find some... also yeah living in california would help alot not that you could do much about it at the age of ten... your school might give out after school or summer activity sheets where you can find lessons or if not there is always the great and mighty power OF THE INTERNET!!!!!

Get experience by doing school p-lays, and summer theatre. Then audition for an agent. They will tell you what to do from there.

Go somewhere and audition.  If you have talent, they might give you a roll.  If not, they will kick you to the curb.

I'd say join a stage school, Do you have a stagecoach where you live? I used to go to stagecoach and it's great training and you can get bookings there.
