How do I become a fantastic storyteller?

Storytelling is great to keep minds engaged and great for conversation starters, if done correctly.

I want to master skills, starting with good timing.

Well you should have a wild imagination..

You should also read other storytellers writings and get ideas...and put them together to make your own.

Just do what you want... it what makes you ...you

Well first off you need to project your voice. Then you need to interact with people move your hands and tell stories that they can relete to. The most important though is the voices you have to us voices people absolutely love it, it makes them feel as if they are really there.

Recently in school I had a storytelling unit where everybody got up in front of the class and told a story that they had been studying. I really wanted to be picked "best storyteller" because that would drop my lowest grade in that class. But the reality was that another student stole "best storyteller" from me, and here's why.

~He had a loud voice, where I was quiet.

~He made eye contact with everybody in the audience, where I looked at the floor.

~He did hand gestures that went along with the story, and I was a rock.

~Lastly, he let his inhibitions go and just had fun! And that is what I should have done too!
