Do I finish nursing school and then get certified in alternative medicine? Or is there an accredited holistic nursing program available?

  1. I think it is up to you.  You could go after the holistic/naturopathic first, then get the RN or vise-versa.   However, it is worth commenting that RN training is based on the Western scientific method, while the holistic/naturopathic has a stronger Eastern non-scientific approach.   It may become something of an intellectual challenge.

It may also be considering what your ultimate objective for all this training will be.  If your planning on working on your own or in a holistic/naturopathic medical group it would be fine.  If your planning on hospital work it would not be a good fit.

Good luck and I hope your goals work out.
