I would like to do that as a job. You know what I'm talking about? The agents that pose as underage girls or boys and try to find pedophiles and prosecute them.

1. What is the official job title for this? I don't know what to search for in search engines.

They don't hire private citizens to pose online. They use cops, usually assigned to Vice.

If this is your dream job, then you need to apply for a job as a police officer and work your way up to it.

They usually hire someone who is 18 or 19 years old and is cute but looks young and can pass as a 13-16 year old. If you fit that criteria, contact some of your local police forces and ask them if they need anyone for that position.

There isn't a specific job title for the person who poses as a 13 year old online.  The job itself is called undercover officer and you do plenty of other things besides getting your rocks off by talking dirty to old men.  The officers behind the keyboard can be any officer.  They won't have young female come face to face with a predator.  They don't need to take that risk.

Your local jurisdictions may have some capacity in this field. My advice is to apply to join the Innocent Images Task Force through the FBI. They are part of the co-ordinated world wide hunt for these predators.
