How do I become a manager at a fast food restaurant?

I am in high school and work at wendy's. I am a good student and would like to be a manager to make money for when I go to college. (I will NOT work at wendy's my whole life!)The managers like me and I have been trained on everything, but would would put me over the edge to be considered as a managerial candidate?

Most places require you to be a certain age.  I would just ask your boss and show interest.  Go above and beyond the call of duty.  If the floor needs to be mopped.. Go mop it. If the bathrooms need to be cleaned.. go clean them, If you are waiting for someone to ask you to do it, you will never prove yourself as a leader.  Do not ask others to do things as you might not have that authority yet.  Good luck.
