I'd always wanted to go there since I was little...I finally went in September last year...and I fell in love. I haven't been completely happy since I came home to The States...I've spent any spare change I get on anything Irish....on my spare time I reread our family history and stare at the names of my ancestors that traveled from Ireland.I belong there...the people...the atmosphere are intoxicating...I would give anything to be able to spend the rest of my life in Ireland. If I could leave tomorrow, I would....any suggestions? Should I attend college here, and then study abroad?...Someone save me from this wretched country...because America doesn't hold anything special for me...Ireland....is heaven on Earth.

  1. dont spend all your money on "irish stuff" spend it on the 2nd holiday of a lifetime in Ireland!

and the previous poster is wrong, most irish people DONT leave to go to the UK

why dont you look into studying here ?

  2. You should go a second visit. Most Irish people when they can leave to go to England.

  3. Your best bet is to

get a student visa, spend some time and get to know the country well.

As for a previous respondant who said that Irish people go to England

People of English nationality infact make up the largest non national group in Ireland!

    Sigh.....

  4. Marry an Irishman!

  5. Why don't you go to college in Ireland?  Spending 3 or 4 years here will give you a better idea of what it's like to live here and you'll be in a better position to decide whether you really want to stay permanently.
