  1. Well it depends on the state you live in.. I live in florida and work in a daycare I have to have my 40 hour DCF training plus every year get 10 in service hours. Also have to have your CDA, and attend vpk classes/meetings. I make about 18,200 a year..

  2. Be all you can be. $15,000 per annum.

  3. It depends what state you are in and what the regulations are.  Also depends on your level of experience and education.  Usually can count on making somewhere between 9 and 12 dollars an hour.  The best way to find out is to call area daycare centers and ask what the teacher and assistant requirements are.  I wouldn't ask about salary until you get called in for an interview.

  4. It varies from State to State. Here in Hawaii you need at least a two year degree in Early Childhood Education. Which is earned a a local community college. You could go an get you Master Degree In Early Childhood for more job options. And we don't make much.

  5. I'm a Teacher's Assistant in Sacramento, California and work for the Headstart Program. I get about $24,000 a year. It all depends on where you live and your education level.

  6. Working as a preschool teacher is not a good way to make a lot of money, but it's a very rewarding job in other ways.  Call some preschools in your area and tell them you're interested in working in preschool education and ask if you can volunteer a little time in their center.  That would be a good way for you to find out what's involved and what kind of money you could make.  They may require you to obtain clearances in order to do this, so you might want to ask about that when you call.

  7. You become a preschool teacher by going to a technical school in your town then you have to received your CDA and then  you have to take some classes with preschool children and making lessons plans for the week and make healthy food for the kids. I'm not sure how much trhey make but you can go www.blvs.gov for more information it tell you how much they make........

  8. This largely depends on where you live. Working at a center with more funding can provide you with a higher salary. You can run a preschool from your home by obtaining a business license and meeting local requirements. That gives you the flexibility to set your own hours and determine how many preschool classes you want to have in your program. Working at home gives you many tax breaks that you would not receive teaching preschool somewhere else.

There is information about marketing a home based preschool program here:
