How do I become a raver?

I'm 14 and live in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. I totally dig the whole rave scene, especially the P.L.U.R. part of it. I don't know anyone involved in this scene. How do I find raves in my area? How do I convice/trick my parents into letting me go? Thanks.

Being a raver is not about partying, it is about love and happyiness (never forget P.L.U.R. = Peace, Love, Unity, Respect) if you go to a rave and just get high for partying then you are not really a raver. If your parents don't let you go then you should accept that and learn to respect and love your parents (remember P.L.U.R.)...
