How do I become a resident of Honduras?

I am moving to Honduras in June and I just read somewhere that I can enter and stay up to 90 on a visa but would have to leave the country to apply for another Visa. I would like to avoid this and stay there as long as I would like. How do I go about getting residency for myself and my kids. My husband is a resident.

  2. You need to contact the Honduran consulate that services the part of the US you are currently living in. They will let you know what you need to do to get started. There are certain things that need to be done here in the US before you leave for Honduras.
