  1. You can start off by working for a wedding consultant which is a great way to get your feet wet. There are also lots of books, CDs, online courses, and even certification programs as great resources. There is more you can read about wedding planner at this site

    http://weddingplanner.trustprofitablenic...

    Hope this helps.

  2. start planning fake weddings for your friends to get the feeling of a wedding planner. then, after a while, you can make your resume and advertise yourself so others know who you are

  3. familarize yourself with vendors in your area, and open your own business a small office, you dont necessary need school education. put your name out there thats all.

  4. How about interning with a wedding planner in your area? So you can become familiar with the business.. Good luck!

  5. have s*x the night before the wedding

  6. College for business/fashion/decorating or a combination wouldn't hurt.  If you just want to get your feet wet, ask people you know if you can help them.  If things go well, they would likely be more than happy to give you a great reference.

You could also check bridal registries and attempt to contact the brides/grooms via postcards/brochures to offer your service.

In the spring there are lots of bridal fashion shows and many of them have convention-type things where you could set up a booth and meet and greet potential couples.

When you first get started, you might offer to do it for free (once or twice) or at a greatly reduced price just to "prove" yourself.

  7. go to college!
