  1. how do i go cricket umpire.i wish i make my english team win Ashes 2009 and do my people proud.

  2. There are some things you need to have in place to start with. You need to be an excellent skater. It will help if you have played a lot of competitive hockey.  If not join a skating club where you can improve on the basics. You need a good knowledge of hockey rules and understand how to apply them. If you are in the U.S. I don't know how your officiating systems work but try going to the hockey rink, find some referees and progress from there.  Good Success

  3. you can't just jump into it. you have to start out being like a high school ref.  Hopefully you'll be at the right place at the right time and someone will notice you and want you to ref for college or even pros

  4. Join your local hockey federation and take a refereeing course. Become an excellent skater and referee as many games as you can. Sign up for referee summer camp and take lots of courses. Referee in as many leagues as you can and become real good at it.

If you start all this at 12 and work for 12 years you might progress to Junior B or maybe even A. If you haven't made this by the time you're 25 give up the dream and become the best you can be. If by the time you're 25 you're working lines in the CHL you might have a chance. Keep plugging, learn to sleep in a van, eat in greasy spoons and you might make it to the AHL by the time you're thirty. If that happens there is a slight chance you might make it to the NHL as a linesman or even a referee.
