How do I become an animal cop?

I saw it on animal cops and I live in westland near the humane socity in detriot and i'm 14 and i've always wanted to be an animal cop!! what should I do now to increse my chances of becoming an animal cop? what college would I go to what would I study in? and how would I get that job would I just ask to be an animal cop or do you have to work your way up to it or something?

If your area has animal "cops" then they are just police officers who have been assigned to that unit.  They usually get college (bachelor degree) degrees (criminal justice is norm, but it doesn't matter, really) then get into the police academy.  Most animal cops go into the academy or get hired by the dept based on the fact that they want to be animal cops.  There are laws and such they learn that aren't necessarily needed if you are a street cop.
