How do I become and English tutor in Hong Kong?

I will be in HK in a few weeks and I would like to earn extra money while I am there (I will be there for a couple of months). I am a teacher, I am credentialed and English is my first language. I have e-mailed many companies but have had difficulty lining stuff up over the internet. Most people tell me that it's easier once you get there. Is that true? Are there any good tutoring companies that I should check out first? Can I just walk in, or do I need to contact them in advance? And how much should I expect to earn? Lots of questions!!! Thank you in advance for your advice!

  1. I think it might be hard to find a job if you are only going to be in Hong Kong for a few weeks. The pay is pretty good, around $400 to $500 HK an hour. Try the link below for more information:
