How do I become prosecutor?

I'm junior at high school and currently i'm taking ROTC. What do I need to prepare to become a prosecutor?? is taking ROTC will benefits me??

  1. H/S ROTC will prepare you for discipline, regulations etc, so as to challenge yourself. ROTC you can apply for law school and work for the Staff Judge Advocates office. (Military attorneys)

    Upon release you will have knowledge, expertise and a military education with veteran point on any test hahaha.


  2. ROTC may look good on your resume, but you will need law school.

    Prosecutors are practicing attorneys, so you have to first get a law degree, and then pass the state exam, commonly referred to as "The Bar".

    Prosecutors are elected in most areas, and appointed in others. Most have experience in the private sector first. Your best bet would be to get a job as an assistant, and run for office after a few years experience.
