How do I block a number from calling my house phone?

Not sure if it's a Cell phone or house phone that's calling, but I have Comcast phone service and this person has been calling between 1-5:30 in the morning. I know about the Caller ID Manager, but was hoping for something that didn't cost that much. I heard about doing #60, can anyone tell me how much that service costs?

Call your phone company and request that number be blocked from contacting your land line, or get privacy manager!

I'm assuming you have a phone number specifically that is calling you, right?  If it is long distance, I don't think *60 is going to work.  I thought I heard somewhere that it doesn't.  It's not so easy to 'just not pick up' because many businesses you WANT to hear from only call from call-out-only lines that are always changing.  That sucks.  :-(
