  1. 1) Disable off the SSID broadcast.

    2) Set a WPA (or WPA2) password.

    3) Set up MAC-address (or physical address) filtering.

The more difficult you make it for people to use the signal, the more likely it is that they'll stop trying.  (WPA2 is almost unbreakable, and certainly not by the average "script kiddie".  Getting past MAC-address filtering requires first breaking the WPA2 encryption.)

You can't keep radio signals from going anywhere.  Legally it's considered that they go everywhere, since that's close to reality.  (They'll eventually cross the universe, but at levels too low to be detected by any science.)

  2. You cant. All you can do is make it a secured network, which will prevent others from using it.

  3. There is an authentication option in your wireless router called "WPA Password". Click that option and type a secure password. So that everyone will be asked password while connecting your wifi router and you only can connect the router as you only know the password. :)

    Hope this helps!

  4. Simple...call your router manufacturer and ask for assistance in creating a "WEP KEY" or "NETWORK KEY" so even if your wireless signal can be detected by your neighbors, they wont be able to get in unless they know your password :)...feel free to email me...i'll try my best to help-with no charge...

  5. You need to get the disk that came with the router, put it in the cd drive and let it run and theres an option in the installation where you put a block on  your internet being access by others..Read the instruction on the piece of paper that came with it.If you dont have that,go to the website of the router manufacturer and read instructions there.Even call them if you must.
