How do I block someone from calling my home phone?

How do I block a cell phone number from calling my home phone? I don't want to go through the trouble of calling my phone company, changing my phone number, signing up for something, or paying money... is there anything simple I could do, like dial a specific number after he calls? I have heard of *60, but I'm curious to know if it really works, and WHEN do you use it? Do you put that in and then call his number, or do you dial it after he hangs up? Help would be greatly appreciated...

Call your local phone company and ask to add the feature for call rejection.

but *77 is only good for ppl who use *67 to call your house, otherwise get yourself a callerID manager!!!
